West Pasco county is situated along the Nature Coast of Florida over-looking the beautiful blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. US Hwy 19 runs through the county, which lies just north of Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The North Suncoast Parkway is just east of West Pasco and facilitates driving to and from Tampa with ease. West Pasco is also conveniently located for trips to Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Tropicana Field.

Pasco County states to have a population of 434,425. Municipalities located here include New Port Richey with a population of 16,747 people; Zephyrhills, population 12,730; Dade City, population 6,906; and Port Richey, which has 3,165 residents. Pasco County covers 745 square miles.

A temperate climate prevails in West Pasco. You’ll enjoy comfortable winters here where January temperatures range in the 60s and summertime temps hover around 90 degrees, a welcome relief from sizzling summer temperatures found elsewhere in the South. Gulf breezes keep things even more pleasant. West Pasco is less humid than other areas of Florida, however precipitation is still ample. The annual average rainfall is around 52 inches.
